Before you start making your Assignment:

  1. Make sure you have all your learning materials, the course page, emails from your lecturer or the assignment questions and instructions for how it should be submitted.

  2. Read the instructions carefully, and make sure you understand them and follow them exactly.

  3. Check if you are clear about what’s required email your lecturer. You could phone but it’s better to have a record of the answer.

  4. It's better if you have a college portal where you can submit assignment. Make sure to convert your assignment into the PDF format or as required before submitting over the portal.

General Guidelines for Online Submissions:

Some Universities allow students to submit assignments on the portal and nowadays many universities runs distance learning in multiple courses and they have their own portals where they submit results, exam hall tickets as well as assignment marks.

This is very useful to having all information in your device regarding the assignment, instruction and post submission news.

File format

  1. Use 1.5 or double spacing and fairly wide margins.

  2. This leaves room for the marker’s comments.

  3. Leave a blank line between paragraphs.

Reference list

The reference list comes at the end of the assignment, and should start on a new page labelled 'References'.
