Will India be suddenly opened at 15 April, 12 AM, after Lockdown?
In a recent meeting with chief ministers of states from all over India, PM Modi has asked states to start preparing for a gradual reopening of states after the lockdown ends on 15th April.
This is an extremely crucial step as the sooner we come out of lockdown, the faster our economy starts buzzing again.
On the other hand, if the lockdown is ended too soon, the spread of the virus may not be contained properly thus risking our population.
A staggered approach to opening the country again does seem to be the right way to move ahead.
This means, while sectors like transportation, consumer goods, etc might partially open, sectors that can work from home, like the IT sector, might continue working from home for more time.
It is obvious that different states will open in different manners since each state is affected differently.
Indian Railways has made clear that its booking for April 15th and beyond are valid.
In other news, a UN trade report has said that India anand China might be the only two major countries might escape recession.
Don't trust on rumours.
